Parent Presentation Tonight

 Copperfield School Council is offering a free TELUS Wise workshop for Copperfield Parents/Guardians at 6pm tonight.  Many children are using technology and the workshop is designed to support Parents/Guardians to better understand topics including screen time, gaming, cyberbullying and more.  The presentation will be virtual and Copperfield parents/guardians can log on using a personal device to participate using the following link:  https://meet.google.com/bfj-poun-cms

  Remembrance Day Assembly The Grade 5s will be leading the Remembrance Day Assembly coming up tomorrow, November. 8 th  at 10:30 am . Families are welcome to come but are reminded that this is a somber assembly, so there will not be any clapping/cheering/etc. Students are very proud of the work they have put into this so we would love to see you there. Doors will open at 10:15 am.     Veterans Food Bank The Veterans Food Bank of Calgary is a service provided by CALGARY VETERANS SERVICES SOCIETY, founded in August 2018, to serve food security and other resource needs of veterans from Calgary and surrounding area. The Veterans Food Bank of Calgary supports veterans who served in all branches of the Canadian Armed Forces, Reserves and first responders.   Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year! I am pleased to introduce myself as your child’s grade five teacher. My name is Mrs. Emily MacQueen and this will be my twelfth year with the CBE and second year at Copperfield School.  Previously, I worked in other schools within the CBE and boards within Alberta.
